The idea for ReInVintaged Goods came about when owner Kim, an avid vintage enthusiast and collector of (mostly) vintage kitsch and housewares, decided to streamline her home and send some items she's enjoyed over the years to new, loving homes. That's the vintage part. The rest of the name comes into play because ReInVintaged Goods will eventually sell repurposed, upcycled, and rescued (vintage items that need a LOT of tlc to look pretty again) - basically reinvented - items in addition to lovely vintage things. Reinvented + vintage = ReInVintaged. There will occasionally be vintage handbags and accessories as well, and maybe clothing at some point.
Currently selling vintage housewares in the Etsy Shop, plans also include the possible future launch of an eBay store. The idea behind this blog is to showcase items for sale that are not posted in the shop, such as mismatched sets and/or one or two items of a particular pattern instead of an entire set, extra pieces in a set, etc.
Also, if you are looking for something in particular and time is not an issue, email me with the details of what you need (pattern, manufacturer, which pieces, photograph, etc) and I will do my best to help you find it!
